Job summary

Anotech Energy company seeks a Senior ICSS Engineer to support ICSS-related engineering activities on major Oil & Gas projects. You will contribute to both Basic and Detailed Engineering, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include defining ICSS architectures, developing DCS/SIS specs, coordinating interfaces with partners, and performing Functional Safety studies. Fluent English and offshore/onshore experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Automation, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: minimum 10 years in Control & Safety Systems within Oil & Gas.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience on onshore and offshore projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or update technical specifications for DCS and SIS systems.
• Prepare and review ICSS architectures and related studies.
• Participate in Basic and Detailed Engineering studies for control and safety systems.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, partners, and subcontractors.
• Support validation activities related to installation of Control, Safety, and Fire & Gas systems.
• Prepare and review functional documentation (Control Narratives, Cause & Effect Matrices, Logic Diagrams).
• Participate in Functional Safety studies.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and best practices.
• Report engineering progress and issues to the Discipline Lead.

Job description

We are looking for experiencedControl & Safety System Engineers to support the development and execution of engineering activities related to Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) on major Oil & Gas projects.

The successful candidates will participate in both Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering phases, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

• Develop and/or update technical specifications for DCS and SIS systems.
• Prepare and review Integrated Control & Safety System (ICSS) architectures.
• Participate in Basic and Detailed Engineering studies related to control and safety systems.
• Coordinate internal and external interfaces with engineering disciplines, suppliers, partners, and subcontractors.
• Support validation activities related to the installation of Control, Safety, and Fire & Gas systems.
• Prepare and review functional documentation, including: Functional Analyses Control Narratives Cause & Effect Matrices Logic Diagrams
• Participate in Functional Safety studies.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Report engineering progress and technical issues to the Discipline Lead.
• Engineering degree in Automation, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Control & Safety Systems within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of: DCS (Distributed Control Systems) SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) ICSS (Integrated Control & Safety Systems) Fire & Gas Systems (F&G)
• Experience with both onshore and offshore projects is preferred.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas Control & Safety Systems.
• Good knowledge of industrial processes and Fire & Gas applications.
• Familiarity with ISA standards (ISA 5.1 / 5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 / 5.5 / 5.6).
• Knowledge of IEC 61511 and IEC 62443 standards.
• Functional Safety certification (TÜV, QUALI-SIL, or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio).
• Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.
