Job summary

Sacyr is seeking a Site Contract Engineer to support the construction phase of a project in France. Based in Montoir de Bretagne, you will handle contract administration on site, monitor obligations, manage variations, review payments, and coordinate vendor representatives on site.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, fluent French and English, and a track record in EPC Contract administration and field procurement. LNG project exposure is a plus, with no specific degree mandated.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in construction contract administration, field purchasing, vendor coordination, EPC projects and operating industrial plants.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to negotiate and prepare substantiated award recommendations.
• No specific academic degree, software package or professional certification is mandated.
• Experience in LNG projects or LNG facilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned construction contracts and subcontracts throughout execution and close-out.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, correspondence, notices and records.
• Manage variations, change orders, claims and other contractual deviations, including preparation of supporting documentation.
• Review progress certificates, payment applications and related contractual substantiation.
• Support contract and subcontract close-out, including final accounts and outstanding obligations.
• Handle urgent and local site purchases in accordance with project procurement procedures.
• Issue enquiries, obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial conditions and prepare award recommendations.
• Coordinate the mobilization and attendance of vendor and manufacturer representatives at site, including schedules, access requirements, work reports and follow-up actions.
• Interface with the Site Manager, Project Manager, construction teams, contractors, suppliers and vendor representatives.
• Maintain complete and traceable contract and procurement records and comply with project procedures and delegated authorities.

As part of our growing team in France, we are looking for a Site Contract Engineer to support the construction phase of the project. The role will be responsible for contract administration on site, urgent local procurement activities, and coordination of vendor representatives working at the project site.

This position is based in Montoir de Bretagne and is primarily focused on contract management. The successful candidate will be part of the Site Contracts team, reporting directly to both the Contracts Manager and the Site Manager.
