Fortrea is seeking a Budget & Contract Specialist to negotiate and manage budgets, site agreements and confidentiality agreements in support of our clinical research efforts.

You will work with the FSPx team and a key sponsor to advance studies, while ensuring compliance, efficiency and financial controls; this role offers hybrid/remote options and clear paths for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in contract negotiation, clinical research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Maintain budget tracking and reporting tools.

In this role, you will be part of our FSPx team and work directly with one of our renowned key sponsor to advance the development of innovative, life-changing medications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop country and site budgets.
• Build and manage complex budget templates/models.
• Track and report on budget negotiations.
• Maintain budget tracking and reporting tools.
• Negotiate, obtain approvals for, and manage contracts (e.g., CTRAs, amendments).
• Calculate and manage payments (investigators, vendors, grants).

Required Qualifications
