Boston Consulting Group in Paris is seeking an experienced Consultant/Project Leader for the Industrial Goods Practice. You will guide teams and work on-site with clients across Aerospace, Automotive, and Manufacturing sectors to drive decisive change.

The role requires 7+ years in Industrial Goods, strong leadership, and fluency in French and English. You will influence executive stakeholders and contribute to intellectual capital while collaborating across international teams.

Qualifications

• Have at least 7 years of experience in Industrial Goods projects with leadership track record.
• Deep knowledge of Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Machinery/Automation, or Agribusiness.
• Experience in Tech/Digital/AI in industrial goods projects is appreciated.
• Experience managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within client organizations.
• Interpersonal skills to partner with executive management to drive change.
• Collaborative team player with strong ethics and international work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Support the growth of the Industrial Goods practice through case execution and client development.
• Lead projects for key clients in Paris across multiple industries (Aviation, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Machinery).
• Collaborate with BCG X to apply AI to client challenges and improve design cycles.
• Work on-site with client project teams and lead workstreams with a small consultant team.
• Provide intellectual leadership and develop frameworks to guide research and analysis.
• Contribute to building BCG's intellectual capital through papers, benchmarks, and templates.

What You'll Do

As a Consultant Or Project Leader Within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice, You Will Be a Core Member Of Our Practice Working Alongside Some Of The World's Top Minds In Industry. You Will Help Companies From a Variety Of Industrial Goods Branches Through Decisive Changes. On a Day To-day Basis, This Will Translate In

• Supporting the growth of our Industrial goods practice through case execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation
• Executing or providing expertise on projects within the industrial goods branches for our key clients in multiple industries in Paris (ie Aviation, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Machinery and Industrial Automation, Agribusiness)
• Teaming up with BCG X to put AI to work for our international clients - generative AI cutting design cycles for aircraft and vehicle components, predictive maintenance keeping critical fleets running, and the new wave of agentic AI already reshaping factories across Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Automation
• Working jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site
• Leading project workstreams and a small team of consultants
• Providing intellectual leadership for the project teams by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to guide research and analysis
• Contributing to the creation of BCG's intellectual capital on different topics within the material and process industries: innovation, publications, toolkits, benchmarks, templates, processes as well as position papers, studies, and insights from case experience

What You'll Bring

• Have at least 7 years of experience working in diverse projects in the Industrial Goods area and a track record of team leadership and related achievements
• Deep knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following industries : Aerospace & Defense industries (Military services, International Defense organizations...), Automotive, Machinery and Industrial Automation, Agribusiness
• Experience in Tech/Digital/AI in industrial goods projects is appreciated
• Have experience actively managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization to understand their needs and help influence the client agenda
• Have the interpersonal skills to partner with executive management teams as they implement a new vision and passion for enabling leaders to drive change within organizations set you apart
• Be a collaborative team player with positive attitude, high ethical standards and experienced in international work
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, in addition to a strong presence and leadership skills
