Metal-Interface in France is seeking a Welding Technician to perform TIG and MIG welds on steel and aluminum, read blueprints, and ensure quality conformity.

You will prepare parts, assemble them, and implement welding processes, while supervising tool and jig management and reporting any non-conformities to the Production Manager.

This role offers an immediate start with a dedicated team of professionals in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding in steel and aluminum.
• Basic elements of general mechanics.
• Blueprint reading.
• Use of metrology equipment.
• Use of jigs.
• Diligent, meticulous work.

Responsabilités

• Performs manual unit or series welding.
• Assembles metal parts using TIG or MIG welding.
• Prepares the parts to be welded and implements the process.
• Checks the conformity of the welded product.
• Carries out work ordered by the production/scheduling department.
• Isolates non-conforming products.
• Reports non-conformities to the production manager.
• Checks that sampling control is working properly at the workstation.
• Informs the Production Manager of material requirements for manufacturing.
• Is in charge of tool and jig management for manufacturing.
