Airswift is seeking a senior Concrete & Metal Structures Engineer for a 12-month contract engagement in France. The role focuses on structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, with exposure to FEA across complex projects.

Fluency in English is required, Italian skills are a plus, and EPC/consultancy background is preferred. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare reports, and support design verifications and technical assessments throughout

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with concrete and steel design and calculations.
• Proficient with FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus, RSA).
• Experience with EPC contractors or engineering consultancies.
• Fluent English; Italian language skills preferred.

• Perform structural analysis and calculations for concrete and steel structures.
• Develop and review engineering designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for complex structural systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Support engineering reviews, technical assessments, and design verification activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and calculation reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience in the design and structural calculations of concrete and steel structures.
• Proven expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Experience on complex industrial, energy, offshore, or oil & gas projects.
• Fluent English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred Experience Italian language skills.
• Experience using ANSYS, Abaqus, Robot Structural Analysis, or similar structural analysis software.
• Previous experience with EPC contractors or engineering consultancies.
