Composite Stress Engineer

A leading aerospace engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled Composite Stress Engineer with deep expertise in the structural analysis of cabin interior components. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge aircraft programs, focusing on advanced composite and metallic structures within the cabin environment (e.g., seats, monuments, panels).

You will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and certification readiness of interior components through static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

What You'll Do:

Perform static and fatigue analysis on composite cabin structures (e.g., seat frames, actuators, attachments)
Develop and validate detailed FEM models using tools like NASTRAN, PATRAN, HyperMesh
Ensure compliance with CS/FAR 25 structural requirements
Support weight, strength, and manufacturability optimizations for both composite and metallic designs
Review and approve drawings, reports, and test data
Collaborate with design, test, and certification teams across the development cycle

What You Bring:
