A Funeral Services Assistant supports funeral operations with clerical and administrative duties, assists on services, and provides information to clients. The role expects attendance at monthly staff meetings and adherence to company policies.

Location: Thomasville, NC 27360. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and prior customer service experience; proficiency with MS Office and databases is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and databases; willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Prepare for services: floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, keepsakes; ensure proper care and storage.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist with respectful preparation of remains per law and company regulations.
• Perform office duties: answer phones, operate office equipment and systems.
• Run errands for floral delivery and supplies; assist with visitation and ceremonies.
• Serve as usher; may park cars or handle transportation needs.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
