Voodoo in Paris is seeking a Community Manager to lead and evolve our Discord hub, fostering an engaging and welcoming player community for our Draft Showdown project. You will monitor feedback, plan events, and coordinate with teams to improve the game experience.

Ideally with a marketing or communications background, you have experience with gaming communities, strong English and excellent communication skills, and a proactive, assertive attitude.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications would be a plus.
• A first experience in the gaming industry, using Discord and/or reddit and an experience in F2P (gaming) would be a plus.
• Experience with marketing strategies and social media management would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and assertiveness are your two main qualities.
• Native level of English.

Responsabilités

• Lead and evolve our Discord community strategy to create an engaging, informative, and supportive player hub.
• Social listening, analyse players’ feedback and data and suggest game improvements.
• Moderate and actively participate in community discussions to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Plan and execute community events, contests, Q&A, and other engagement initiatives.
• Provide first-line player support and coordinate with relevant teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor community health metrics and prepare weekly engagement reports.
• Train and oversee community moderators to ensure consistent community management.
• Create and maintain community guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community initiatives with game objectives.

You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to one of our most promising games in scale - Draft Showdown . This studio is specifically chartered to improve this high-potential game up to the successful and market-ready title it is meant to become.

In this role, you'll be responsible for building and nurturing an engaged player community while providing exceptional support through our Discord channel, creating a dynamic and welcoming environment that strengthens player relationships and drives game success. This is a unique chance to join a project with established momentum while still having a significant impact on its future direction within a dedicated and agile studio environment.
