Amtech Systems Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to support CMP equipment at customer sites in France or Germany, with a flexible location.

The role involves installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance. You will train customer personnel, document service activities, and work closely with engineering to resolve recurring issues.

Qualifications

• Strong field service and on-site support skills with semiconductor or complex industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical Support to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment calibration for reliable operation.
• Solid customer service, communication, and expectation management.
• Technical education in engineering/electronics/mechatronics or related field; read schematics and service manuals.
• Willingness to work on-site in Greater Lyon Area; travel to other sites as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
• English required; French beneficial for local interactions.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, and qualify Amtech CMP systems at customer sites.
• Perform routine and complex preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Document service activities, reports, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on recurring issues.
