ThunderSoft in Paris is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, highly resilient AWS platform services. The role requires hands-on ownership, strong AWS architecture skills, and a commitment to automation, security, and production readiness.

You will build reusable foundational components for an AWS-native cloud platform, follow IaC and GitOps practices, and collaborate with security, infra, and app teams to ensure end-to-end consistency and reliable disaster recovery.

To support the company’s platform resilience strategy, we are recruiting a Platform Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, highly resilient AWS platform services.

This role operates within a business-critical cloud environment with strict standards for availability, reliability, security, automation and operational excellence.

You will take hands-on ownership of engineering delivery, with solid comprehension of AWS platform architecture design.

Mission :

You will define, design and build reusable technical foundational components for a fully AWS-native cloud platform.

All delivered solutions shall be fully automated, testable, secure, production-ready, and consistent with the company’s existing platform standards & engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and challenge the target architecture designed for critical cloud workloads, propose optimization suggestions
• Review technical patterns for data processing, replication, data synchronization and recovery orchestration
• Convert resilience & disaster recovery requirements into stable, practical and horizontally scalable technical solutions
• Build cloud infrastructure components following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps standards Partner with platform, infrastructure, security and application development teams to guarantee end-to-end system consistency
• Establish formal operational runbooks and maintain technical documentation under the company’s knowledge management framework
• Proactively identify technical risks, cross-team dependencies, single points of failure and operational process gaps
