Job summary

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise in Brest, France invites a Cloud DevOps developer to join the Rainbow Edge team. You will automate deployment of Rainbow cloud architecture and work closely with the SRE/Operations group to ensure scalable, highly available services.

You will use Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash, develop tests, documentation, and drive the industrialization of Rainbow EDGE Pro, helping customers deploy and operate the platform in edge cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Strong knowledge of GNU/Linux systems and networking.
• Experience in testing, documentation, and cloud deployments.
• Ability to write technical docs and contribute to industrialization.
• Familiarity with distributed cloud architectures and edge computing.
• Nice to have experience in regulated environments.

About the role

The CES organization is seeking a Cloud DevOps developer within the Edge Factory service, proficient in Ansible and Python, capable of working on scalable and highly resilient distributed cloud architectures. You will work closely with the Operations team (SRE) to leverage the same methods to automate the deployment, configuration, and management of applications. In addition to automation tasks, developers will also be responsible for testing, documentation, and industrialization of the Rainbow EDGE Pro solution.

Your Job

• Automate the deployment of a Rainbow cloud architecture using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash

Required Skills

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Solid knowledge of GNU/Linux operating systems (Debian is a plus) and networking
• Knowledge of automation, high availability, scalability, redundancy, encryption, backup, and recovery
• Experience with testing
• Knowledge of technical documentation writing
• Curious, open-minded, eager to learn, correct yourself, and master just about everything
• Experience in architecture and deployment of distributed solutions would be a plus
• Knowledge of Git, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, and Debian packaging
