Job summary

Betclic in Bordeaux is seeking a Cloud Architect to guide cloud strategy and enforce best practices across infrastructure, security and development. You will work with autonomous squads to improve delivery and resilience.

Designs must align with AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks, use Terraform, handle containerized and serverless components, and foster knowledge sharing through training and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cloud technologies and architecture design.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly distributed applications.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
• Familiar with the DevOps approach and have experience with CI/CD and automation tools.
• Foundational knowledge of networking and cloud security.
• Strong interpersonal skills and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support technical teams in adopting Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Design resilient, scalable cloud architectures aligned with AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks.
• Provide technical expertise to project teams.
• Train teams on Cloud tools and best practices.
• Define and ensure adherence to best practices and associated documentation.
• Maintaining the landing zones according to AWS and Azure defined standards.
• Conduct continuous technology watch on market trends and competitive landscapes.
