Robeauté is seeking a Clinical Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute preclinical and clinical tests of its robotic platform. You will work with surgeons and the product team to define protocols, oversee testing, and ensure readiness for clinical use in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional setting.

The role involves international travel up to 30% and close collaboration with hardware/software teams, with emphasis on data‑driven reporting and scientific integrity.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or M.Eng., with equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience preparing and executing medical device testing.
• Testing experience across lab and clinical environments.
• Strong written, verbal and documentation skills in English and French.
• Experience with usability testing and human factors.

Responsabilités

• Define device test protocols with surgeon collaborators and oversee their execution.
• Design and run formative and summative usability studies.
• Train surgeons to full proficiency on the robot ahead of clinical implementation.
• Validate the platform's readiness ahead of each clinical or preclinical use.
• Oversee installation of the robot in the OR or preclinical test space.
• Collect, manage and structure data following each test session.
• Author detailed reports based on data from preclinical or clinical use.
• Lead surgical procedure training and provide OR oversight for studies.
• Productize the surgical procedures with dedicated docs and workflows.
