Météo-France in Toulouse invites applications for a Chapter Scientist position within the CNMR. You will support the IPCC-related chapter with scientific analyses, data processing, and coordination across authors and reviews.

Requirements include a strong climate science background (Master's or PhD preferred), excellent English with French advanced, and ability to work across time zones. Remote work up to two days per week in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Background in climate science or a related field (Master’s or PhD level preferred).
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and international environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (full proficiency in written and spoken English).
• French language proficiency at an advanced level.

Responsabilités

• Scientific & Analytical Support for IPCC Chapter work.
• Assist authors in compiling and analyzing large, multi-source datasets.
• Develop and share reproducible analysis scripts (e.g., Python, R) for figures and metrics.
• Coordinate with chapter team and TSU; track deadlines and revisions.
• Ensure traceability of data and references; manage cross-chapter communications.
