The CCAC Scaling up Coordinator supports the Government of Mexico in scaling up climate mitigation efforts by identifying funding opportunities and forging strategic partnerships. You will lead proposal development and donor engagement, ensuring sustainable capacity and alignment across technical, financial, and political teams.

Required experience includes 5-8 years in climate project management, grant writing, and donor coordination, with strong knowledge of CCAC, UNFCCC, and NDC contexts.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in climate project management, grant writing, and donor coordination.
• Experience with CCAC, UNFCCC, NDC implementation, and coordinating donor engagement is desired.
• Spanish and English language proficiency highlighted in requirements.

Responsabilités

• Identify and cultivate national, bilateral, and multilateral funding opportunities.
• Develop and submit high-quality funding proposals and concept notes.
• Establish and manage a financial tracking system for resource mobilization and allocation.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and coordinate participation in key international fora.
• Develop and implement integrated coordination frameworks for SLCP initiatives.
• Support sustainability, financial, and institutionalization plans for the Accelerator program.
• Produce strategic engagement materials linking national implementation with international processes.
• Coordinate donor engagement and relationship management.
• Collaborate with technical, programme, finance, and operational teams to develop funding opportunities and ensure project adoption.
