Job summary

Valis is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the client side of our technology from initial calls through rollout and ongoing support. You will work across security, IT, and legal discussions, and translate technical decisions for non-technical executives.

You will connect Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other services, manage access controls, run pilots, and document FAQs to shape the product roadmap. Fluent English is required, and prior enterprise SaaS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role (solutions engineer, TAM, etc.).
• Hands-on with integrations: OAuth, service accounts, APIs, SSO, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 admin, and access control.
• Experience with data: SQL, a data warehouse, reading logs, writing small scripts (Python or TypeScript).
• Hands-on with LLM tools in daily work: Claude, Claude Code, MCP, agents.
• Able to explain technical decisions to a non-technical executive.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and participate in deal calls; answer technical, security and compliance questions.
• Maintain a live trust pack with updated answers and evidence.
• Manage connections: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, ERP/CRM integrations.
• Run the technical questionnaire and document deployment locations.
• Own client support channels and resolve issues within one working day.
• Contribute to product roadmap via field notes and FAQ improvements.
