Job summary

Alice & Bob is building the world’s first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer in Aubervilliers, France. You will join as a Tool Owner and hands-on production engineer for the lithography scope, ensuring uptime, quality, and cadence across electron-beam and laser processes. You’ll work with a Process Owner, own asset execution, and help transfer R&D recipes to production with robust SOPs. On-site, English-speaking team; you will shape the creation of an ambitious cleanroom team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a semiconductor cleanroom or pilot line.
• Experience with SPC, control plans, FMEA, or R&D-to-production transfer.
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination on capital equipment.
• Strong grounding in deposition, lithography, etching, wet processing, metrology, and vacuum systems.
• Proficient with MES and basic statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and performance of production tools; prevent drift and scrap.
• Partner with Process Owners to ensure reliable operation and cadence in production.
• Transfer processes from R&D to production; write SOPs and train operators.
• Develop and manage load plans; balance tool-level throughput with constraints.
• Run qualified recipes, maintain MES traceability, and escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety in the cleanroom environment.
