Prince Service & Manufacturing in Macon, GA seeks a dedicated CDL Driver to transport goods using company trucks. You will plan routes using traveler information, secure loads, and uphold forklift safety, DOT regulations, and quality service for customers.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspection, load securing per standards, and following customer-driven palletizing procedures. The role requires a Class A CDL, DOT health card, and ability to pass a road test and tape measure test;

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with no 'E' restrictions.
• DOT Health Card required.
• Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation preferred.
• Able to pass a tape measure test.
• Must pass road test.
• Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and experience operating forklifts.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations governing commercial transportation.
• Ability to interpret traveler information and plan routes effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsabilités

• Understand and utilize traveler information to plan routes effectively.
• Properly strap and secure loads on trucks to prevent shifting during transit.
• Adhere to forklift safety protocols during loading and unloading.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT laws and regulations governing commercial transportation.
• Clean and inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operation.
• Follow customer-driven palletizing procedures for efficient delivery.
• Utilize Portal and familiarise with job locations within the shop for efficient operations.
• Utilize Prince vehicle capabilities for transportation needs.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
