Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering to join our Public Infrastructure - Transportation team in our Austin, TX office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Expected start date: January 2026 or May/June 2026

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks.
• Project research, field work, observation and preliminary design calculations.
• Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed.
• Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts, and estimates.
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products.
• Assist in the preparation of exhibits, plot plans, lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline.

Required Skills

• Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field.
• Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs.
• Basic knowledge of the firm's policies, practices and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of software required for position.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations.

Required Experience

Currently working towards completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Compensation

Compensation Range Minimum: USD $18.00 per year.

Compensation Range Maximum: USD $23.00 per year.
