I’m representing a growing civil engineering consulting firm that is looking to add an experienced Transportation Engineer (PE) to their team. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop roadway and infrastructure projects, including highways, intersections, and municipal streets.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze data to support project planning and design decisions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure designs comply with all applicable local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful completion.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Review and provide quality assurance for designs completed by other team members.
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver well‑coordinated, high‑quality projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 5‑10 years of experience in transportation engineering, with work on projects for state DOTs, municipalities, or county agencies.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related design software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
