GBA is seeking a Wastewater Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects, guiding engineering teams and delivering wastewater solutions that matter. You will supervise design efforts for treatment plants and collection systems, provide technical direction, and ensure high-quality deliverables while fostering growth within the team.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with regional Water Environment teams, and drive projects from conception through completion, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, biological engineering, agricultural engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Multi-state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in KS, MO, NE, or TX.
• Experience in municipal infrastructure with wastewater treatment is a plus.
• Enjoy guiding engineering teams and mentoring staff.
• Build trusted relationships with municipal clients.
• Take pride in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

GBA is seeking a Wastewater Project Manager who enjoys leading engineering teams, solving complex challenges, and delivering infrastructure projects that matter. Our Water Environment teams work with municipal clients to improve wastewater treatment systems, modernize infrastructure, and support long-term environmental stewardship. If you enjoy both technical problem solving and project leadership, this role provides the opportunity to do both.

What You\'ll Do:

• Lead engineering design for wastewater treatment plants and collection systems
• Guide multidisciplinary project teams through complex infrastructure projects

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time.

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Travel:

Ability to travel as needed (15%-30%) based on job level and expertise for project site & field visits, conferences, training, and professional outings. Occasional day trips or overnight travel may be required, including other GBA offices. Must maintain a valid driver\'s license and an insurable driving record under the company\'s insurance carrier requirements to operate or rent vehicles for business purposes.
