Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Civil CAD Designer located in Tampa, Sarasota, or Ft. Myers, Florida. The role provides drafting and design support for civil projects including site development, municipal infrastructure, and utility design in a collaborative office setting.

You will develop drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and ensure quality, standards, and documentation across multiple concurrent projects. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; travel required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

RESPEC seeks a Civil Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer located in Tampa, Sarasota, or Ft. Myers, Florida.

The Civil CAD Designer will provide drafting and design support for civil engineering projects, including site development, municipal infrastructure, and utility design. Projects will vary in size and complexity and be produced in a collaborative office environment alongside project managers, engineers, and other design professionals.
