Oxford Solutions is seeking a skilled Civil 3D Designer for a fully remote, direct hire opportunity supporting our client headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, with a strong focus on using Autodesk Civil 3D to produce accurate and detailed designs for a range of civil and land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit civil engineering design documents using Autodesk Civil 3D, including alignments, corridors, grading plans, contours, and cut/fill calculations.
• Develop detailed 3D models and surfaces for projects such as site development and land development.
• Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform earthwork calculations, storm drainage analysis, and utility design.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other design professionals to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Engineering Technology, or Civil Engineering (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in civil design with a strong emphasis on Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience with land development and site design.
• Expert proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of Civil 3D objects, including surfaces, alignments, and profiles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
