Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in France is hiring a Security Guard for the Paris Temple. This full-time role provides security coverage for church properties, supports visitors, and responds to emergencies within a 35-hour work week.

Responsibilities include door and window checks, informing and assisting people on site, completing written reports, and coordinating with local authorities when needed. Fluency in French is required; basic English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced reading, writing and communications skills in French are required.
• Basic English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes required number of reviews of buildings and grounds during assigned shift.
• Examines doors, windows, and gates to assure they are secure and reports issues to security supervisor.
• Assists those in need of information, directions, or with other problems.
• Works any shift day and night, as needed.
• Available on a 24-hour basis as needed for emergencies.
• Registers at security checkpoints as required.
• Contacts police as needed and reports suspicious activity.
• Renders first aid and contacts EMS in emergencies.
• Watches for security hazards and safety risks.
• Participates in security training to develop skills.
• Keeps written reports and records of events.
• Summons help as needed.
