Pennylane in Paris is seeking a high-impact strategic operating professional to strengthen leadership rhythms and drive cross-functional execution across company-wide initiatives. You will partner with the VP Strategic Initiatives and the executive committee to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to strategic programs.

This role emphasizes turning priorities into action, managing OKRs, and ensuring decisions translate into measurable outcomes that accelerate Europe-wide growth.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in top-tier management consulting and/or an operating role at a fast-growing company.
• Outstanding organizational judgment—distinguish executive priorities from routine work.
• Structured, concise communicator capable of turning complex inputs into clear agendas, decisions, or docs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and low ego, with ability to coordinate senior stakeholders and drive accountability.
• High attention to detail while maintaining focus on the bigger picture.
• Comfortable working behind the scenes and measuring success.

Responsabilités

• Structure agendas, preparation, and follow-through for key executive and leadership forums.
• Coordinate definition, cascade, and tracking of company OKRs; surface misalignment early.
• Bring consistency to major initiatives through steering committees and executive reporting.
• Prepare materials for Board meetings, offsites, annual planning, and company-wide communications.

In 2024, we implemented an organizational structure built around business 'tracks'. This approach integrates key stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and customer care into unified teams focused on specific product lines or client segments. Each track operates as a mini-business, empowered with dedicated resources (e.g., product marketing, data analytics, and operational support) and direct accountability for performance.

Why this role exists

Pennylane is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs, building the financial operating system for SMBs and their accountants. As the company grows, the quality of its execution depends increasingly on how well its leadership team sets priorities, makes decisions, and follows through across the organization.

This role makes that system work. You'll work directly with the VP Strategic Initiatives and closely with the executive committee to bring structure and momentum to Pennylane's most important company-wide rhythms, from OKRs and leadership meetings to cross-functional steering and Board preparation.

This is not a traditional strategy role or a position observing executives from the sidelines. It is a high-leverage operating role for someone who enjoys creating clarity, improving how teams work together, and making sure important decisions turn into action.

What you'll own

• Running our leadership rhythms. Structure the agendas, preparation, and follow-through for key executive and leadership forums. Make sure the right topics are discussed at the right time and that decisions, owners, and next steps are clear
• Turning priorities into an operating cadence. Help coordinate the definition, cascade, and tracking of company OKRs. Maintain a clear view of progress and surface misalignment or execution risks early
• Strengthening cross-functional follow-through. Bring consistency to how major company initiatives are reviewed through steering committees and executive reporting-without replacing the leaders accountable for delivering them
• Preparing high-stakes moments. Coordinate the materials and inputs required for Board meetings, executive offsites, annual planning, and company-wide communications
• Improving the system. Identify where information gets lost, decisions stall, or responsibilities are unclear, and design lightweight processes that help the organization move faster

Who we're looking for

• 3-7 years of experience in top-tier management consulting and/or an operating role in a fast-growing company, with evidence of an exceptional trajectory
• Outstanding organizational judgment-you can distinguish what requires executive attention from what should be resolved elsewhere
• A structured, concise communicator who can turn complex and fragmented inputs into a clear agenda, decision, or executive-level document
• Strong interpersonal skills and low ego. You are comfortable coordinating senior stakeholders, challenging constructively, and creating accountability without relying on formal authority
• High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You anticipate what is needed, close loops, and reliably follow through
• Comfortable operating behind the scenes and measuring success
