Détail du poste

We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to contribute to the design, optimization and safe development and deployment of machines for industrial manufacture of high-temperature thin-film superconductors (HTS).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and economic viability of new chemical processes for transforming raw materials into finished products
  • In collaboration with the HSE department, ensure full compliance with chemical safety regulations, including storage, handling, and waste disposal
  • Implement quality control and monitoring systems in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards and product specifications
  • Identify potential risks and define proper procedures for waste management, including the treatment of exhaust process gases, wastewater, and chemical waste
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to coordinate and optimize production activities, using chemical and industrial know-how to help define process parameters and equipment requirements for the safe and efficient production of chemical processes
  • Design innovative CVD processes and, where applicable, polishing processes - for example, by identifying alternative raw materials to improve performance (e.g., faster, simpler, more cost-effective, or environmentally safer solutions)
  • Work closely with other engineers to scale up prototype lines into fully industrialized manufacturing processes
Requirements
