Job summary

IFP Energies nouvelles - Lyon offers a 6-month internship focusing on simulating bubble columns with a CFD two-fluid model. You will implement closure laws and compare OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent in a small team of engineers and PhD students.

The ideal candidate has a Master 2 in fluid mechanics, chemical engineering, multiphase flows or CFD, and is eager to work in Lyon, FRANCE. Salary: 1150€/month (gross).

Qualifications

• Master level in fluid mechanics or CFD-related field.
• Strong background in multiphase flow modelling.
• Experience with CFD software is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify closure laws in CFD code.
• Compare OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent for this project.
• Collaborate with engineers and PhD students on multiphase flows.
