A growing technology firm is seeking a CEO to steer GolfMore towards significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong international B2B sales experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to develop scalable business models. Knowledge of the golf industry is a plus but not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a company positioning at the forefront of digital solutions for golf clubs.

Heading a Scale-Up with great potential.

Bring your commercial execution power and leadership capabilities, as well as a strong understanding of sales, technology and international market scaling – sprinkled with a bit of golf insight.

Since 2012, GolfMore has helped golf clubs across Europe use technology to create a better player experience and increase revenue and profit.

Current product range includes a driving range payment solution, a self-service kiosk, a voucher management solution and a simulator management solution. Golfmore’s payment solution for driving ranges is used across 18 countries with a total of +500 installations, more than any other of the closest European competitors.

As the new CEO your goal is to position GolfMore as one of the leading partners in digital solutions for golf clubs. You are expected to lead the way in increasing revenue and profits 4-5x compared to current levels, reaching +50 mDKK in revenue in 2030 by developing a lean, strong and scalable organization that is well integrated across primary markets.

GolfMore will be focusing on strategic growth areas, leveraging the current product portfolio with local sales forces in both Nordic and selected European markets heading for a combined target of +1.000 driving range customers and + 300 kiosk customers.

CEO profile

Entering the role as CEO in GolfMore requires a set of key competencies spanning strategic, commercial, and leadership capabilities, as well as a strong understanding of sales, technology and market scaling – sprinkled with a bit of golf insight.

We expect you to have proven experience in scaling a company, ideally from startup or scale-up stage, or from heading a business unit of a larger coorporate - giving you solid knowledge of the structural needs of growth: processes, systems, organizational design, and governance.

Your ability to focus on commercial strategy and profitable growth while contributing hands-on across all areas is also pivotal for success as new CEO in GolfMore.

The successful CEO candidate

On top of all our preferred profile skills we need you to have a basic insight and interest in Golf. No need for Pro skills, just the simple experience from a few fairways, amateur dedication, golf network or similar experience preparing you for growing together with GolfMore from day one. We expect you as well to match:

  • Successful experience in leading international B2B sales teams
  • Profound insight into building and scaling data-driven revenue models – fx within SaaS, Technology Products, Product Brands or ?
  • Success in designing and executing winning Go-to-Market strategies and securing cross-functional execution
  • Technology Understanding — Grasping the company’s technological core translating technology into business value.
  • International Business Acumen – Experience with market selection, entry, and scaling in new geographies, hereunder understanding of cultural differences, legal frameworks, and local go-to-market strategies — ideally, experience in building networks internationally.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management – Strong communicator, both internally and externally, with employees, investors, partners, and customers. Capable of credibly representing the company in diverse contexts.
  • Finance and Data – Data Operationally with sufficient financial insight to ensure control, oversight, and sound decision-making.
  • Product insight - understanding the importance of user-friendliness, operational reliability, and payment integration.
  • You are comfortable with customer interaction, continuous product development, and ideally with license- or subscription-based business models.
  • You have a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution mindset – knowing that everything in a Scale-Up business begin with giving quality to the first ball
