Sephora is seeking an AI leadership executive to drive deployment and industrialization of AI across regions. You will translate Sephora’s AI strategy into concrete assets, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and define scalable models with governance and ethics in mind.

You will partner with Data Governance & Legal to ensure privacy and regulatory compliance, while fostering innovation and high standards of delivery across the AI factory network.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall deployment, industrialization and maintenance of AI solutions across regions (NorAm, EME, SEA, Latam, China)
• Declinate Sephora’s AI strategy into AI concrete assets, relying on several multi-experts (AI experts, Data Engineers, ML Ops, LLM Ops…) teams led by AI Leads, which directly report to them
• Orchestrate, challenge and act the design of AI solutions that match the best with defined AI strategy: assess both in-house and on-the-shelf options which are the most relevant for Sephora
• Assure AI models scalability by defining a relevant development framework and building reusable core models algorithms
• Define monitoring standards (MLOps, LLMOps…) to guarantee reliability and performance of AI systems in production environments
• Provide strong leadership to AI, data science, and related teams, setting direction, developing capabilities, and fostering high standards of delivery
• Secure consistency across all AI developments made by the Global & EME AI Factory resources
• Define make or buy strategy and select most valuable AI partners to accompany Sephora in its strategic AI priorities
• Encourage ethical AI practices, comply with data privacy and regulatory standards throughout projects in collaboration with the Data Governance & Legal Department
• Foster innovation to make Sephora an actor of reference regarding the use of AI

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, or related fields, including significant experience in leadership roles
• Demonstrated track record of delivering AI strategies in complex, large-scale organizations
• Strong expertise in AI technologies and methods, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes
• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams and driving execution across multiple stakeholders and functions
• Proven ability to manage AI programs from strategy through deployment and scale-up
• Strong understanding of data, technology, and governance requirements associated with enterprise AI adoption
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership
• Experience in retail, consumer, digital, or omnichannel environments is a plus
• Master GCP stack and additional solutions of reference in the domain of Data Science and AI
