STMicroelectronics France is seeking a Quality & Reliability Engineer for the General Purpose and Automotive Microcontroller Division. You will join a dynamic team to ensure product quality and reliability from silicon qualification through to production, including hardware/software development, test monitoring, and final reporting.

The role requires collaboration with design leads, test engineers, project managers, and reliability laboratories, with a temporary contract through July 2027.

Qualifications

• Master degree or diploma in Electronics/Microelectronics.
• Knowledge of semiconductors, electronics and components.
• Experience in reliability of electronics components or Product/Test Engineering is appreciated.
• Conscientious, Pragmatic, Rigorous, highly organized and enjoy teamwork.
• Good Analytic skills and master communication.

Responsabilités

• Ensure product quality and reliability meet customer expectations and ST standards, including Automotive.
• Be responsible for the entire qualification flow: defining the qualification plan for silicon and packages, developing and debugging necessary hardware and software, monitoring tests, analyzing results, and writing the final report.

YOUR ROLE

In a Context Of Growth And Increasing Product Offerings, You Will Join a Dynamic Team Within The Quality And Reliability Department For The General Purpose And Automotive Microcontroller Division Within This Team You Will

• Ensure that product quality and reliability meet customer's expectations and ST standards, including Automotive
• Be responsible for the entire qualification flow : from defining the qualification plan for Silicon and Packages based on product mission profile, developping, and debugging the necessary hardware and software to ensure product reliability, monitoring electrical and environmental testing, analyzing results , to writing the final report

Throughout the development phase (from product definition to production) you will represent the Quality and Reliability department within the technical project team and work closely with other representatives (Design Leader, Test Engineers, Project Manager, etc..) as well as reliability and failure analysis laboratories

This job is temporary assignment until July 2027

Your Skills & Experiences

• Master degree or a diploma from an Engineering school in Electronics/Microelectronics. Ideally, knowedge of semiconductors, electronics and electronic components, or experience in the reliability of electronics components or Product/Test Engineering
• Conscientious, Pragmatic, Rigourous, highly organized and enjoy teamwork

VOTRE RÔLE

Dans Un Contexte De Croissance Et D’élargissement De L’offre Produits, Vous Rejoindrez Une Équipe Dynamique Au Sein Du Département Qualité Et Fiabilité De La Division Microcontrôleurs Généralistes Et Automobile. Au Sein De Cette Équipe, Vous Aurez Pour Missions De

Garantir que la qualité et la fiabilité des produits répondent aux attentes des clients ainsi qu’aux standards de ST, y compris pour les applications automobiles.

Être responsable de l’ensemble du processus de qualification:

• définition du plan de qualification pour le silicium et les boîtiers en fonction du profil de mission du produit ;
• développement et débogage du matériel et des logiciels nécessaires pour assurer la fiabilité du produit ;
• suivi des essais électriques et environnementaux ;
• analyse des résultats ;
• rédaction du rapport final de qualification.

Tout au long de la phase de développement (de la définition du produit jusqu’à sa mise en production), représenter le département Qualité et Fiabilité au sein de l’équipe projet technique et collaborer étroitement avec les autres acteurs du projet (responsable conception, ingénieurs tests, chef de projet, etc.), ainsi qu’avec les laboratoires de fiabilité et d’analyse des défaillances.

Ce poste est proposé dans le cadre d’un CDD jusqu’en juillet 2027.

VOS COMPÉTENCES ET EXPÉRIENCES

• Diplôme de niveau Master ou diplôme d’ingénieur en électronique/microélectronique.
• Une connaissance des semi-conducteurs, de l’électronique et des composants électroniques est idéale.
• Une expérience en fiabilité des composants électroniques ou en ingénierie produit/test serait également appréciée.
• Vous êtes consciencieux(se), pragmatique, rigoureux(se), très organisé(e) et appréciez le travail en équipe.
• Vous disposez de bonnes capacités d’analyse et d’excellentes compétences en communication.
