  • Monitor category KPIs (sales GMV assortment mix bestsellers trends).
  • Contribute to the 2026 category development strategy.
  • Benchmark other resale and e-commerce platforms.
  • Assist in building action plans and strategic presentations.
  • Contribute to assortment reviews including product segmentation.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.

About the role

As a Category Development Assistant Intern you will support the team in accelerating the growth and performance of our categories working closely with cross‑functional teams (marketing merchandising business development operations).

What you will do
  • Performance tracking: monitor category KPIs (sales GMV assortment mix bestsellers trends).
  • Category strategy support: contribute to the 2026 category development strategy by identifying differentiating opportunities for Vestiaire in the market.
  • Market insights & benchmarking: benchmark other resale and e‑commerce platforms, track competitor strategies and analyze consumer behavior to spot growth opportunities.
  • Business recommendations: assist in building action plans and strategic presentations to support category growth.
  • Assortment management: contribute to assortment reviews including product segmentation innovation tracking and pricing analysis.
  • Project support: collaborate on cross‑functional initiatives such as merchandising projects launches or promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in Master 2 in Business Marketing Data / Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in fashion luxury and sustainability.
  • Rigorous detail‑oriented and proactive with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
