Baker Hughes Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for Casting and Forging to drive quality improvements across the supplier base. You will lead defect analysis, develop corrective actions, and ensure supplier capabilities meet company standards.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or materials engineering, strong knowledge of metallurgy, NDT, and ability to read technical drawings. Travel about half the time to Baker Hughes sites in Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert and other locations, with

Qualifications

• Hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in castings and forgings areas.
• Be fluent in English and either Italian or French.
• Be able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
• Have knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Support the suppliers in root cause analysis and corrective actions after non-conformities.
• Implement Quality Development Plans for eligible suppliers.
• Qualify suppliers according to company rules.
• Move out periodic audits to verify compliance with requirements.
• Check on-the-job inspections according to Quality Control Plans.
• Support SDR management with deviations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supplier quality.
