Position

Care Assistant – Avista Day Services, Roscrea, North Tipperary/South Offaly

Permanent, part-time and relief contracts. Salary subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rated for hours of work. Ref: 86004.

• Minimum of fully completed FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification or higher equivalent qualification.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
• Experience working with intellectual disability and with people who have a diagnosis of Autism and Behaviours of Concern.
• Desire to support people to live their best lives and promote active engagement and participation in local communities.
• Willingness to support individuals to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
• Level 1 behavioural competencies of the Avista competency framework.
