Job summary

SFBI in Paris is seeking a Bioinformatician to join the ARTURO cancer research project. You will perform transcriptomics analyses (bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics) and interact daily with experimental scientists to interpret data.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in bioinformatics, strong English, and programming in Python and/or R with good coding practices. The position is a fixed-term, full-time contract starting January 2026, with a gross annual salary of

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in bioinformatics (the development of a PhD project on the topic is an available opportunity).
• Previous experience in the analysis of sequencing data (bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and/or spatial transcriptomics).

Responsibilities

• Perform bioinformatics analyses of transcriptomics data (bulk RNA-seq, deconvolution, scRNA-seq, and Visium HD spatial transcriptomics).
• Interact on a daily basis with experimental scientists generating the data.
• Conduct scientific and technological monitoring relevant to the project.
• Communicate analysis results through meetings, written reports, and scientific publications.
