ALTEN is seeking a C++ Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams. You will work on projects for international clients, shaping cutting-edge solutions with your C++ expertise.

The role requires a Master’s degree in CS/SE and 2+ years of professional C++ experience, with strong knowledge of modern C++, OOP, and design patterns. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional C++ development (internships count for junior roles).
• Expertise in modern C++11/14/17/20, STL, templates, multithreading.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Analyze technical specifications to define software requirements.
• Design scalable and efficient C++ architectures and conduct feasibility studies.
• Propose and validate technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality C++ applications following industry best practices.
• Optimize code for performance, memory management, and thread safety.
• Model, design, and implement databases and backend systems.
• Write and execute unit, integration, and performance tests (e.g., GoogleTest, JMeter).
• Debug and refine existing C++ systems in collaboration with product teams.
• Ensure code reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Produce clear technical documentation for internal and client use.
