Job summary

Electra in Paris is seeking a 6-month HQ Business Strategy internship starting March 2027. You will join the team driving Europe’s network expansion, supporting local sales and performing market analyses to steer growth.

You will analyse network and revenue performance, support country teams on expansion, and help automate tools while using Excel, SQL, and possibly Python. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Student in engineering or business school, ideally in final year or gap year
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Comfort with Excel for data analysis; financial knowledge is a plus
• SQL or Python are optional but highly valued
• Fluent in French and English
• Available from March 2027 for 6 months in Paris

• Analyze network and revenue performance and the impact of pricing, promotions, site type, and station size on revenue
• Extract and visualise data (SQL, Omni dashboards) and translate into clear business insights
• Support country teams on expansion, including qualitative site analyses and responses to public tenders
• Contribute to strategic investment decisions by preparing and participating in real estate committees
• Run ad hoc market studies and help automate the team’s processes and tools

Your Mission

Reporting to Alexis, you will join the HQ Business Strategy team for a 6-month internship starting in March 2027 in Paris. The team combines strategic growth and operational excellence to accelerate network expansion and B2B growth across Europe: it helps every country define and apply its expansion strategy, and makes sure expansion teams have the processes, tools and data they need to secure a high volume of quality sites.

You will work on both sides of this dual approach: hands-on support to our local sales teams, and network, revenue and market analyses that steer Electra's expansion.

Your Responsibilities

1. Analyse network and revenue performance

   • Analyse station and network performance, and the impact of pricing, promotions, site type, station size on revenue
   • Extract and visualise data (SQL, Omni dashboards) and turn it into clear business insights

2. Support country teams on expansion

   • Carry out qualitative site analyses for the sales teams
   • Help structure responses to public tenders
   • Contribute to strategic investment decisions by preparing and taking part in real estate committees

3. Run market studies and improve the team's tools

   • Conduct ad hoc market studies (competitive analysis, market opportunities, etc.)
   • Take part in automating the team's processes and tools

Your Profile

• You are a student at an engineering or business school, ideally in your final year or the second half of a gap year
• You are rigorous, curious, and have strong analytical and synthesis skills
• You are comfortable with Excel, especially for data analysis; financial knowledge is a plus
• SQL or Python skills are optional but highly valued
• You are autonomous, know how to prioritize, and communicate clearly
• You are fluent in French and English
• You are available from March 2027 for 6 months in Paris
