Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions is seeking a hands-on BI Developer to turn business needs into reliable data solutions, dashboards, and process automations using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to improve decision-making through high-quality reporting, data modeling, and analytics.

You will develop Power BI dashboards, manage SQL reporting databases, and map data from source applications into BI repositories while building ETL processes

We are looking for a hands-on BI Developer to turn business needs into reliable data solutions, impactful dashboards, and process automations using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to improve decision-making through high-quality reporting, data modeling, and analytics.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and semantic models that support business decisions.
• Manage SQL reporting databases and create complex queries, views, tables, and optimized data models.
• Map and integrate data from source applications into BI repositories and data warehouses.
• Build and support ETL processes and Power Automate workflows that improve efficiency and data quality.
• Partner with business users to translate reporting needs into clear, scalable BI solutions.
• Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot solutions, and continuously improve reporting performance.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development, with strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
• Advanced English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and query performance-tuning skills.
• Experience with ETL development and Power Automate; Alteryx knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
