Job Purpose

Business Development role on our European GCC (Global Computing Components) team responsible for working with and becoming the SME working with memory and storage. Aligned with the vendor and working together with marketing and the vendor business manager, the person will need to drive the strategy down to GCC countries and with top customers, on specialized opportunities to achieve the desired goals.

Accountabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, your responsibilities will extend to implementing a dynamic customer engagement strategy, owning quarterly vendor business planning, and developing unique selling propositions to safeguard margin integrity. Empowering sales teams and cultivating strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders are integral aspects of this position, positioning us as the go-to "Trusted Advisor." Additionally, you will be tasked with creating tailored customer value propositions based on a clear understanding of business requirements and staying on top of industry trends. Required Knowledge and Skills

Influence and Persuasion: Proven ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.

Self‑Management: Thrive in a dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to self‑manage.

Relationship Building: Skillful in building multi‑level relationships with high energy and motivation.

Industry Experience: IT sales experience in storage and memory. Experience collaborating with vendors in the storage and/or Memory space. Experience with MICRON an added bonus.

Industry Knowledge: Complete understanding of job functions, industry best practices, and standards.

European Exposure: Experience working at a European level is a plus.

Language Skills Required: English C1; proficiency in any other EU language is a high plus.
