Magellium Artal Group is seeking a senior business development leader to grow its European Earth Observation market and space sector partnerships from its Ramonville-Saint-Agne, France base.
You will connect market needs with Magellium’s technical and scientific strengths, leading collaborations, consortiums and bid strategies with internal teams and external partners.
Your mission will be to grow Magellium’s business in the European Earth Observation market and, more broadly, across the space sector, by identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders and working with our teams to define the most effective positioning strategies.
You will act as a key link between market needs, European opportunities, and Magellium’s technical and scientific expertise.
You will work closely with the Head of the Earth Observation business and our technical and scientific experts.
You hold a degree in engineering, from a leading engineering school, or from a business school, and have significant experience in the space sector, more particularly in Earth Observation, remote sensing or a related field.
You have a strong understanding of the European space ecosystem and its key stakeholders, including space agencies, European institutions, industrial companies, research laboratories and NewSpace players.
Your added value lies as much in your understanding of technical and scientific challenges as in your ability to identify opportunities, build trusted relationships and turn ideas into concrete projects.
You are comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including scientific experts, engineers, industrial partners, institutional representatives and senior decision-makers.
You are also able to develop and present proposals, coordinate contributors and advocate for a competitive positioning in the context of calls for tenders and other competitive bidding processes.
Fluent English is essential for working in this European and international environment.
At Magellium Artal Group, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to the way we operate and deeply rooted in our values. We respect the diversity of our employees, their experiences, backgrounds, and disabilities, and we provide equal opportunities for everyone. Different in every way, talented all the same !
You will join an environment where business development is directly underpinned by recognised scientific and technological expertise.
You will contribute to major European programmes alongside highly regarded experts in fields including Earth Observation, sensor geometry, measurement physics, atmospheric sounding, gravimetry, and environmental and climate monitoring.
At Magellium, you will have the opportunity to play a tangible role in developing new business activities, working directly with key players in the European space sector and drawing on the support of highly skilled technical and scientific teams.
A role at the crossroads of space, science, technology and business development.
