Role Overview

As a Business Developer / Sales Intern, you will be at the forefront of Perplex’s growth, focusing on expanding our client base and building strong, lasting relationships with institutional and professional partners.

This role blends commercial strategy, lead generation, and deal execution, giving you direct exposure to the dynamics of sales in the fast‑moving world of crypto and decentralized finance.

You’ll learn how to build and manage a sales pipeline, develop sharp negotiation skills, and play a direct role in driving the company’s revenue and market presence.

Your Mission
Business Development & Sales Execution (50%)
  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential B2B leads (institutional traders, funds, fintechs, ecosystem partners).
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow‑up and relationship building.
  • Support and participate in client calls, demos, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and tailor sales strategies that align with client needs.
Market Research & Strategy (25%)
  • Map the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and threats in the crypto trading ecosystem.
  • Monitor client feedback and market trends to refine Perplex’s value proposition.
  • Propose actionable insights to improve sales processes and business strategy.
Cross‑Team Collaboration (15%)
  • Work closely with marketing to design impactful sales materials (decks, one‑pagers, case studies).
  • Coordinate with product teams to ensure client needs are understood and addressed.
Autonomy & Initiative (10%)
  • Propose, launch, and test mini‑projects aimed at accelerating business growth.
  • Take ownership of specific tasks, ensuring execution with minimal supervision.
