CMA CGM Group in Marseille is seeking a Finance Controller to manage the reliability of financial information for the Technical Ship Management of CMA CGM fleet. You will support actual costs, budgets and forecasting to help drive cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Business Control manager in France, you will participate in monthly closings, ensure cost-booking accuracy, analyze gaps, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting while collaborating with the fleet team.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Controlling / Finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in business control.
• Proficient in accounting and closing transactions.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate to the monthly closing process.
• Ensure the costs booking accuracy.
• Analyze monthly gaps between actual and budget/forecast.
• Analyze the year prognosis.
• Perform monthly financial review with the fleet team.
• Produce monthly review synthesis to the business control manager.

YOUR ROLE

You are responsible for managing the reliability of the financial information and related analysis for the Technical Ship Management of CMA CGM fleet of vessels.
You play an important role in supporting the business on areas such as elaborating actual costs and budget, assisting fleet team in their cost monitoring.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Reporting directly to the Business Control manager in France, your are responsible for the costs monitoring of your perimeter which include but is not limited to:

• Participate to the monthly closing process
• Ensure the costs booking accuracy
• Analyze monthly gaps between actual and budget/forecast
• Analyzing the year prognosis
• Perform monthly financial review with the fleet team
• Produce monthly review synthesis to the business control manager
• Provide support to build budget and forecast
• Participate to process and tool improvement
