Le Boat, part of the Travelopia group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (F/H) to prepare our boat yard for the season. You will handle boat intake, winter prep, spring commissioning, fall hauling, and stocking the marine shop, with opportunities to travel for emergency repairs and seasonal on-site work in France.

The role covers maintaining the fleet to high standards, following maintenance schedules, and gaining hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical installs plus fiberglass

Qualifications

• Technical studies or hands-on experience related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, water pumps, or general maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Good communication skills to work with Maintenance team and customers.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-site in Hesse.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Full eligibility to work in France.

Responsabilités

• Maintain fleet to the highest standards for customer satisfaction and reliability.
• Ensure boats are in impeccable condition for presentation.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
• Gain hands-on experience in installing electrical and mechanical equipment, including small fiberglass repairs (training provided).
• Collaborate closely with the Head Tech & Base Manager to efficiently prioritize tasks.
• Be ready to travel to off-site locations for emergency repairs.
• Participate in hauling/launching, commissioning, de-commissioning, and gas dock operations as required.
• Work closely with the Head Technician to be responsible of mechanical maintenance/repairs on 36 and 45ft fiberglass boats, handling technical interventions on pumps, batteries, diesel engines, electrical, propane, and hydraulic connections.
• Duty Call out Technician is by Rota, could be required to cover the Region.
