Le Boat, part of Travelopia, invites you to embark on a rewarding journey as Boat Maintenance Technician. You will support preparing our boat yard for the season, receive boats, perform winter preparations, spring commissioning, hauling, and stocking the marine shop.

We welcome both recent graduates and experienced technicians. You will gain hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, follow maintenance schedules, and work closely with the Head Technician and Base Manager.

Qualifications

• Technical studies or hands-on experience related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, water pumps, or general maintenance.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
• Good communication skills to work with Maintenance team and support customers.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-site in Hesse.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Full eligibility to work in France.

Responsabilités

• Maintain our fleet to the highest standards for customer satisfaction and reliability.
• Ensure boats are in impeccable condition for presentation.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
• Gain hands-on experience in installing electrical and mechanical equipment, including small fiberglass repairs (training provided).
• Collaborate closely with the Head Tech & Base Manager to efficiently prioritize tasks.
• Be ready to travel to off-site locations for emergency repairs.
• Participate in hauling/launching, commissioning, de-commissioning, and gas dock operations as required.
• Work closely with the Head Technician to be responsible for mechanical maintenance/repairs on 36 and 45ft. fiberglass boats, handling technical interventions on pumps, batteries, diesel engines, electrical, propane, and hydraulic connections.
• Duty Call out Technician is by Rota, could be required to cover the Region.
