Sartorius, based in Lourdes, is seeking a Methods Engineer to monitor and improve manufacturing processes with a data-driven approach. You will define, implement, and validate processes, timetables, and improvements in collaboration with Quality and Production teams.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, coaching others, and applying lean techniques to optimize efficiency and reliability in manufacturing. English skills are a plus for cross-border teamwork.

Competenze

• Master's degree in science or engineering and CI experience.
• Experience in process analysis and time study.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of CI tools (5S, visual management, waste identification).
• Experience leading continuous improvement workshops.
• Ability to train others.
• English language is a plus.

Join our Methods and Development team as a Methods Engineer (F/M) and play a key role in monitoring and improving our manufacturing processes, with the aim of making them as efficient as possible. Working closely with different teams, you will use a critical and data-driven approach to identify improvement opportunities. Through your contribution to reliable manufacturing processes, you will help our teams focus on what matters most: better health for more people. Your Responsibilities

• Define, implement and validate the manufacturing & control processes (through the writing of work instructions)
• Define and validate the manufacturing and control processes in collaboration with the Quality and Production departments.
• Time the different assembly steps and suggest organizational changes/improvements.
• Support the ergonomics improvement workshops
• Identifies the needs and improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement workshops
• Promote the use of the continuous improvement tools or lean techniques.
• Monitor and report the progress of the workshops
• Coach others and develop the continuous improvement culture in the company
• Work in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement & Technology department and global quality to ensure the consistency of the tools deployed.

What will convince us

• Master's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Continuous improvement or equivalent Analytical, data-driven and problem-solving ability
• Experience in process analysis and time study of a manufacturing process
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of the CI tools (5S, visual management, Wastes identification, problem solving…) is required.
• Previous experience in leading continuous improvement workshops
• Able to train others
• Good written and spoken English is a plus
