Job summary

Excelya seeks a Biomarker Assay Strategy Leader to drive measurement strategies and oversee assay development from late research through PoC and beyond. You will align biomarker plans with project goals across the drug development lifecycle, leading internal labs or CROs and ensuring robust analytical validation.

Qualifications

• PhD in biotechnology, pharmacology, physiology or related field.
• Strong pharma/biotech experience in biomarker assays and strategy.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define biomarker measurement strategies and select CROs or labs.
• Lead biomarker assay implementation from preclinical to clinical stages.
• Define fit-for-purpose analytical validation for assays.
• Provide scientific expertise on genomics, proteomics, IHC, and flow cytometry.
• Collaborate with teams and external partners to deliver assays.
