Medincell seeks a Bioanalytical Scientist to join its Analytical Development & Testing team in Montpellier, France. You will lead LC-MS/MS method development for small molecules, qualify methods, and support research programs across multiple therapeutic areas.

The role requires strong expertise in LC-MS/MS, sample prep, and validation knowledge, with French and English proficiency. This permanent CDI position offers an international, collaborative environment and employee shareholding

Qualifications

• BSc degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or MSc degree with 3+ years of experience in bioanalytical method development.
• Strong expertise in LC-MS/MS method development for small molecules.
• Hands-on experience with sample preparation techniques and SCIEX triple quadrupole instruments and Waters UPLC systems.
• Good understanding of bioanalytical method qualification/validation requirements, including ICH M10 guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute bioanalytical studies in collaboration with research scientists and project teams.
• Develop, optimize, qualify, and apply LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for small molecules and, ideally, biomolecules.
• Conduct literature reviews and leverage innovative tools, including AI-enabled approaches, to support method development.
• Perform sample analysis while ensuring data quality, integrity, and traceability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of method development activities, study execution, and instrument procedures.
• Deliver high-quality data packages and study reports within timelines.
• Contribute to troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement of analytical workflows.
• Support laboratory operations, including reagent, consumable, and sample management.
• Contribute to compound characterization using LC-HRMS when required.

To strengthen our Analytical Development & Testing (ADT) team, we are looking for a Bioanalytical Scientist to play a key role in the development, qualification, and application of cutting-edge LC-MS/MS methods supporting research activities and pharmaceutical development programs.

Key Responsibilities

Bioanalytical Studies

• Design and execute bioanalytical studies in collaboration with research scientists and project teams.
• Develop, optimize, qualify, and apply LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for small molecules and, ideally, biomolecules.
• Conduct literature reviews and leverage innovative tools, including AI-enabled approaches, to support efficient and robust method development.
• Perform sample analysis while ensuring data quality, integrity, and traceability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of method development activities, study execution, and instrument procedures.
• Deliver high-quality data packages and study reports within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement of analytical workflows and laboratory practices.
• Support laboratory operations, including reagent, consumable, and sample management.

Additional Responsibilities

• Contribute to compound characterization activities using LC-HRMS when required.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Research, Formulation Development, Analytical Sciences, and Preclinical Development.
• Support the development, enhancement, and expansion of the organization's bioanalytical capabilities.

Profile

• BSc degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or MSc degree with 3+ years of experience in bioanalytical method development.
• Strong expertise in LC-MS/MS method development for small molecules.
• Hands‑on experience with sample preparation techniques and SCIEX triple quadrupole instruments and Waters UPLC systems.
• Good understanding of bioanalytical method qualification/validation requirements, including ICH M10 guidelines.
• Experience with biomolecules and/or LC-HRMS is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, scientific rigor, teamwork mindset, and communication abilities.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English.
