Morgan & Mallet International is assisting a client in Divonne-les-Bains to recruit a bilingual English-speaking Housekeeper / Live-in Carer. The role includes keeping the house in good order and providing companionship to an elderly gentleman during absences of the primary Live-in Carer (one week per month).

The position offers a permanent CDI contract, 39 hours per week, and staff accommodation is provided. Start date is as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Training as a Live-in Carer or Care Assistant preferred.
• Autonomous, versatile and organised.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Kindness and patience.
• Comfortable around pets.
• Flexible according to needs.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
• Conversational English.
• Driving licence appreciated.

Responsabilités

• General upkeep of the house (cleaning, polishing, dusting, washing floors and windows).
• Laundry management (washing, ironing, storage).
• Stock management of food and household items.
• Errands and grocery shopping.
• Meal preparation with balanced, varied cooking.
• Receiving parcels and deliveries.
• Welcoming external service providers.
• Walking the dog (small breed).
• Assist the employer's father with daily routines and companionship.
• Regular reporting to the employer.
