EDF in Lyon seeks a Bid Manager in Technical Proposal Management to lead international costing teams and drive planning, costing, and risk analysis for nuclear projects.

You will interface with sales and technical teams, ensure design-to-cost compliance, and defend costing results during regional reviews; fluent English and travel readiness required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical or Automation Engineering or comparable.
• > 10 years experience in nuclear industry.
• Experience in structured costing and cost management.
• Fluent English; French or German beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead several international costing teams in parallel for project costing across categories B, C and D.
• Plan, lead and monitor the costing process and framework.
• Perform structured costing based on standards from technical proposal management.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis for proposals.
• Execute design to cost activities and document technical descriptions for offers.
• Ensure requirements compliance analysis and reusable costing opportunities.
• Interface with ICP, ICE and ICT groups across regions for costing support.
• Organize technical and costing reviews with CPL Management and defend results.

As Bid Manager in Technical Proposal Management you are acting as project manager for technical proposals and costings. Your interfaces are sales and technical teams.

You are responsible for:

• Leading several international costing teams in parallel for project costing in categories B, C and D
• Planning, leading and monitoring the costing process
• Structured costing based on standards provided by technical proposal management
• Risk and Opportunity Analysis
• Design to Cost Activities
• Technical Description of your proposal for the offer
• Requirements Compliance Analysis
• Identify opportunities to standardize your proposal results for later re-use
• Interfacing with ICP, ICE and ICT organizations in all regions for costing support
• Organizing both technical and costing reviews with CPL Management and defending the results of your costing project

Your profile:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation Engineering or comparable
• > 10 years experience in nuclear industry
• Experience in structured costing
• Understanding of Framatome´s BU I&C R1 process
• Experience in Framatome BU I&C R2 process
• Project Manager Level C or better
• Advanced Communication Skills to mobilize teams on a short term
• Structured Working Style considering lean management approaches
• Customer Centricity Approach
• Advanced knowledge of Framatome BU I&C´s technical solutions
• Fluent English language skills
• French and / or German language skills are beneficial
• Readiness for business travels between the regions and to customers
