NexusAM is transforming metal additive manufacturing with a backend engineer role focused on building the core C++ systems that ingest, process, and store high-rate sensor data from metal 3D printing machines.

You will develop Python bindings, expose backend functionality to ML and application teams, and ensure real-time streaming and robust, cross-platform builds for customer environments in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production C++ experience (C++17 or later).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with high-throughput data streams or large datasets.
• Strong fundamentals in concurrency, memory management, and performance profiling.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop core C++ libraries for high-throughput sensor data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Build and maintain Python bindings and APIs for ML and application teams.
• Real-time data streaming through WebSockets.
• Maintain robust cross-platform builds for Windows and Linux.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for production systems.
